Very happy to have been awarded Highly Commended awards in both the Overall Design and Build and Garden over £250,000 category’s at the recent APL awards in London for Moustows Manor in Henfield West Sussex.
The judges commented that this is “A highly crafted piece of work with an abundance of beautiful planting and hard landscaping. The use of reclaimed materials give the feel of an established garden and construction style is sympathetic to the original features of the Georgian house.”
The awards season is upon us and I am very excited to have been shortlisted for two major industry awards.
The Association of Professional landscapers 2014 award for ‘Overall Design and Build and ‘Garden over £250,000’.
Each year since 1995 the Association of professional Landscapers have been proud to recognise and reward the high standard of landscape contracting carried out by APL registered members. The APL Awards promote members’ commitment to quality landscaping and keeping their customers completely satisfied.
Chair of the judges Richard Barnard commented “With an increase in entry numbers this year, the judging panel were burning the midnight oil to complete an intensive day judging schemes of exceptionally high standards. I believe the optimism in our industry over the last year has benefited the quality of schemes, which showcase the importance of Awards and their value to members and the industry. With a new venue for the ceremony in March, the APL Awards is a day not to be missed.”
The ceremony will be held on March the 12th at a stunning new venue for 2014 - Gibson Hall in Central London; a converted banking hall steeped in history and located in the heart of the City.
Having won the ‘Overall Design and Build’ award in 2012 for a large Sussex country garden, I appreciate the value of these awards both within the industry and for potential new clients.
